Video Editing and How it Has Helped Me Graw as a Person

Video editing is more than just a hobby for me, it's a passion. Video editing becomes my hobby when I participated in a video editing competition held in grade 10 at school. There my IT teacher taught me the basics of video editing. Accordingly, I tried different techniques and equipment, and I knew that was something I wanted to pursue further.

After that, I started a YouTube channel with my friends and created and uploaded funny videos. Then due to my O/L and A/L exams, I stayed away from video editing for a while. After the Advanced Level Examination, I engaged in the art of video editing. I learned a lot by searching and experimenting with new things. I started a Facebook page and started selling my skills. After that, I started earning money by selling my skills to foreigners and already doing it as a part-time job.

When I first started video editing, I had no idea how much it would help me grow as a person. I was a shy and introverted person, but through video editing, I was able to express myself in a new way. It gave me the opportunity to tell stories and create content that I was proud of.

Video editing requires patience, attention to detail, and the ability to think creatively. These skills have helped me in other areas of my life, such as my work and personal relationships. I have become more patient and have learned to pay attention to the small details that can make a big difference. Additionally, video editing has helped me to become more creative and think outside the box.

Furthermore, I've also been able to develop my technical skills, such as color grading, compositing, and sound design. These skills have helped me to become a better video editor, But they have also helped me to become a more well-rounded person.

In conclusion, my hobby of video editing has helped me to grow as a person in many ways. It has helped me to become more patient, pay attention to detail, and to think creatively. Additionally, It has helped me to develop my technical skills and to become a more well-rounded person. I am grateful for the opportunity to express myself through video editing and to create content that I am proud of.

Below are some examples of videos I have made.
